Thermosensorik GmbH - Lock-in Thermography system

The lock-in thermography is used mainly to identify shunts in solar cells. This system is equipped with an infrared camera that has a spectral range from 1.1μm to 5.3μm and a frame rate of 100hz, an LED array that works at 850μm, a power supply and a computer. Dark Lock-In Thermography(DLIT) and Illuminated Lock-In Thermography(ILIT) produce images that can detect shunts and high recombination areas, these process when combined with image processing softwares like “Local-IV” and “RESI” can produce a precise quantitative map of sheet resistance of a complete solar cell.
